Daily Courier-Observer's pre-Hearing article May 14,2009 Daily Courier-Observer's post-Hearing article May 19,2009

Despite having simplistically and dangerously set up a "dramatic showdown" in many ways, and improperly personalizing a major public policy decision to the exclusion of proper analytical and factual reporting, when the dramatic denouement actually occurred, the local organ of the Johnson Newspaper Corporation print monopoly -- The Daily Courier-Observer (Massena-Potsdam, NY) -- buried and muted the story, and failed to follow up to this day, 5/26/09. This was in spite of multiple robust post-hearing contacts via phone calls and press releases from us to the reporter and his local editor. Two Internet media outlets have however covered the issues extensively based on our press release reporting and personal contact.
